FOLEX 6 EC is a fast and effective cotton defoliant that may be used alone for defoliation of leaves on the lower portion of the plant or as a total defoliation treatment. FOLEX 6 EC is effective when applied to cotton with a heavy dew, and once dried, is not adversely effected by normal rainfall or dew. FOLEX 6 EC can be applied using ground or aerial equipment. It is non-corrosive and will not damage metal parts normally used in applying spray chemicals. FOLEX 6 EC does not suppress second growth. Without a product like Folex, mechanical harvesting of cotton would not be practical
